You don't often think about ghost stories when getting ready for the Christmas holidays, but when I heard about The Haunted Walk's Nightmare Before Xmas I decided it would be something different to do with the family. It was a beautiful evening for exploring part of Ottawa and seeing the Christmas lights. Our guide was excellent. Very engaging, easy to hear and understand and he had excellent delivery. We did the haunted walk in Upper Canada village and loved it. This was our first haunted walk and we very much enjoyed the experience. It is very cool to be walkign around the grounds and buildings at night, and our guide was pleasant and informative. Our youngest - 9 at the time - did not care for the experience, so note this activity may not be suited to all ages. Visited August 2014

My family really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was Eric (looks like Harry Potter) very well spoken young man. The history downtown Ottawa is amazing. For the price well worth the time. Thank you for the hospitality. Going to see Kingston and Toronto eventually.

You MUST take part in the Haunted Walks if you have any interest in history, ghost stories, Ottawa itself or just like to have a good time. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and can certainly spin a good yarn. We strongly suggest the Hallowe'en tours as you get that little bit extra. Visited October 2014

This was my second time taking one of the haunted Ottawa tours, and it was worth every penny. We took the Crime and Punishment tour which takes you through the jail. It was extremely interesting and we learned a lot about the history of Ottawa. We will definitely be participating in another walk during the summer.
